Navajo DOT has partnered with the Eagle Point Corporation to assist the Navajo DOT in a multi-year project to inventory the roads on the Navajo Nation.
The primary objective of the project is to improve the quantity and quality of roadway-related information that is currently being collected in all five agencies of the Navajo Nation. Eagle Point will develop a comprehensive Indian Reservation Roadway Inventory System with extensive use of Geographic Information Systems and Global Positioning Systems technologies.
